The Editorial Board of the Journal organizes the procedure of expert evaluation of articles (internal and external independent reviews); the review reports are retained for at least three years after the publication of the article. Only articles that meet requirements for article formatting are allowed to be peer-reviewed.
Before publishing an article, the Editorial Board follows such mandatory procedures:
- checking the article design and formatting to be in compliance with the state standards of Ukraine (DSTU 3008-95 “Documentation. Reports in the field of science and technology. Structure and rules of formatting”; DSTU GOST 8302:2015 “Bibliographic references. General provisions and rules of composing”; DSTU 3582:2013 “Bibliographic description. Abbreviation of words and phrases in the Ukrainian language. General requirements and rules”);
- implementing internal and external review of articles in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 32 of January 15, 2018 “On Approval of the Procedure for composing the List of Academic Professional Publications in Ukraine”);
- verifying articles on plagiarism (articles 1, 5 of the Law of Ukraine “On scientific and technological activities”; The Article 50 of the Law of Ukraine “On copyright and related rights”; paragraph 16 “Procedure for awarding academic degrees and conferring the academic rank of Senior researcher”).
The Editorial Board considers the feedback provided by the peer reviewers and uses this information to arrive at a decision. The author is informed about the outcome by email.
The final decision on the article, taking into consideration the received review reports, is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
